Thanks Genom, These guys did a great job. They cut the film right at the edge of the window which makes it look like a factory tinted window.

 

Yeah, a cop buddy who got a Mazda 6 told me about them. They stand by their work. My passenger tint got some bubbles after a week and they just took me in, and fixed it right away. No problems since. I was only their second 8 also and it took a few tries to get the rear window just right, but again, they just did it and made it look perfect.

 

How did you have them do the rear window? As one whole piece?

What % did you get (all sides, not just rear)?

Yeah, I got 1 whole peice for the rear. DIdnt occur to me it would be done any other way to be honest :D

I dont remember the % I got though. I got a little less on the side windows but small rears and back are darker. I stayed well within legal limits. Could have gone a shade darker and be right at the edge, but I dont need cops stopping me for something stupid like that, so I avoid the issue altogether. I'll try to snap some pics this weekend after I wash the car.

 

I had it done through the dealer. (Gunther mazda in Ft. lauderdale) They have a guy come in who has a shop near the dealership. I figure if any problems.. the dealer is resposible, and they have more at stake inkeeping you happy.

 

I got 15% all around.. It just blends in with the black paint.. I'll post some pics this weekend after I wash the car.

 

Does that still exist? I'm looking for a good place for tints around the Miami area..

 

I always get my cars done at a shop near Dade land. It's north of Shorty's (across the street from Borders book store , and looks like an old gas station. They have been in that place for many years. Lots of car dealers drop the cars off with them for tint. They have done 5 cars for me and all have been great.

honestly tints add that extra,great looking edge to the car. i would go the shade under illegal, looks amazing
