I bought mine from Kendall Mazda, but if I had to buy now Id look on Atotrader and buy from a private owner. You can pick one up, fully loaded with low miles for $18-20k depending on how hard you look. The market is in your favor.

Good luck.

I bought mine at Gunther Mazda in plantation just north of I-595 on 441.

Great dealer, awesome price, awesome service. It's a little bit of a trek for me to get my service done but i feel it's definetly WELL worth it.

I'd recommend my car sales man, but unfortunately he no longer works there

My car was a lil over $27K i got it for $23K (+/-) Of course thats almost 2 yrs ago and the base price was a lil cheaper.

I'd suggest going to edmunds.com and going to the gunthermazda.com website to some research before showing up there. GOOD LUCK!

I think Kendal Mazda is gone cause they liked to F people over.

Check Ocean Mazda, they have been very good (to me atleast). Prices are pretty fair and they seem to be a well funded dealer. The building is very nice inside and out. (Kendall mazda looked like Fea market) The people were nice and wanted to sell cars.
I always shop on the last weekend of the month. That forces them to deal more or less. Then it all comes down to refusing to pay for all "crap" they tell you "you need to pay for that, its already printed on the paper!"

like SOFL said if you can buy it used go for it, it will save you lots, but i would only buy it if i would be able to pay it all at once. interest on a used car will set the final price to be the same as a new car at the end. all dealers suck *** is the service after you buy it is what matters

Gunther Mazda is where im planning on going. Even though i l ive in miami, im 22 and all the other dealerships look at me as a young kid. Too bad for them who stereotype me. I have been in contact with a salesman from Gunther Mazda he seems like a cool guy but i get the cars at S-PLan pricing plus incentives so im looking at a base at a price of 22400.00 I think thats pretty good. But i know i can negotiate a better deal ..

Ive heard of deals $7000 below MSRP... so i know its possible

try $9k below on a brand new, almost fully loaded 6speed. You can get one hell of a deal if you try. I did

Good Luck and yes Gunther is also a drive for me.. but i've found it was WELL worth it after several Miami area dealers proved to be total idiots.

I am in Miami and I can't decide between an EVO, 03 Cobra, RX-8 or 350Z.. I am leaning towards the RX-8 a lot.. I traded my 03 G35 coupe in for an SRT-4 which most would think is nuts but it was fun until it was stolen.. I have 25 grand to play with and don't know which car to get.

To MiamiRx-8

You sound like a speed freak judging by the your selection of cars. If thats the case don't get the Rx-8. The Rx-8 is more of a drivers car then a then a stop light drag car.

If you like to go fast get a GTO it's raw power is nasty and its all motor so you can get alot more out of it. Evo and Cobra an both be nasty cars but they arent all motor to make that stock power. I cant spit w/o hitting a 350z, they look nice and have good power but would I pick the GTO over it easy.

If you just enjoy driving to work and back and maybe some Auto-x every now and then get the Rx-8. It's pretty quick in a strait line and will put up a decent fight with anything in its HP range. Only problem is that, those days of 200hp cars is gone, and now the starting window is 300's and the Rx-8 doesn't fit in that.

The SRT-4 was extremely fun but I think I out grew the car faster then any other car I owned before. I can't go to classy restaurants and I can't pick up clients or get out of it in a suit and have someone take me serious with a huge HKS BOV sound going off every time I shift. The RX-8 is a good balance between sport and luxury. The car has a very unique look to it which I like a lot.

I definetly think the 8 is the type of car that you can have "fun" in but yet still get out of in a suit & tie and be taking seriously by clients. It's a car that calls attention yet is classy at the same time.

I also don't recommend the 350Z as it's interior is PLASTIC.

Good look with your decision and test drive them all weigh each of the pluses/minuses and you should have your decision!

As a person who deal with clients on a regular basis, I think a rx-8 would fit nicely, it does for me. I go visiting clients in a clean car (especially in my rare phantom blue) and I come out dressed nicely and I look proffessional. People treat me as if I'm alot older, I'm 21 BTW. even my dad preffers to hop in the car with my when we go visit clients. We own an insurance agency so we have to visit clients frequently.

I bought mine from Lehman Mazda in Miami Gardens area (441). They were fairly open to negotiation and have been just OK in the service department.

Just make sure to get them to put everything in writing (we owe's) and make sure to haggle the price down a good 5-7k off sticker, mine was listed at like 34k (wtf, i dunno) but ended up at like 27k. This was like 6 months ago.
