Haven't seen a ton of activity from the Miami crowd lately. Anybody up for an evening cruise sometime soon? I've seen a few around Coconut Grove lately, and I know there was at least one girl with one from UM last (school) year. Maybe around this year?

Was thinking we might be able to get some good group photos around Rickenbacker or possibly in/around the Port of Miami with the city in the background.

 

Sounds like a good idea. I would recommend waiting a month for the bad weather to leave. Im down to do it no matter what though

I usually like driving down south through homestead area on the back roads, they're always empty

 

a photoshoot outside the homestead miami speedway wouldnt hurt either
then after we leave there, go down the street to sonics and take up all the drive in spots? lmao or just park and enjoy the dine-in with all the tv's they got setup, talk and chill

Ah yes, I pass by it every time I go down that way, there's some decent back roads behind it that are very relaxing

I think Sunday afternoon on 9/11 would be a great day to meet. Maybe do a BBQ and take some photos. Meet around 4:30 or 5 down towards Biscayne? Virginia Beach park, right across from the Seaquarium?

Or we could just do the beaches along Rickenbacker. There's a park area on the North Side just before the Causeway on your way out to Key Biscayne that looks like it would have some cool city backdrops, especially at dusk.

Ya i agree the 11th is a bit short notice (for my job that is). I need 2 weeks notice to get a day off because i work weekends

 

just past the bridge/toll on your left (north side of road) is where that pic came from, anywhere from the area closest to the bridge would look great. another member Saul (chino0314) got pictures of his 8 at this location and they came out great!

Ok so how does a meet up on Oct 1st sound? Either that or I can look up dates for an autoX event at the end of this month. I personally prefer the autoX.

ok Porsche Club of America is having an autoX event on the 25th. Ive driven in 2 from them and its alot of fun. Who's up for driving their 8 properly?
