- Cost: Varies - I payed $70 (Premium pkg) which includes parking inside, food, maybe a parade lap, and Playboy Bunnies!!!!

i always c a metalic red/maroon looking 8 on sunrise and university with a body kit and rims and its always parked next to wings stop...not sure if the owner is on here but they should =) i also see a white 8 on pines and douglas alot i think they are with the pines pd but is nice pearl white with some black rims not sure what kind because i havent gotten that close yet...if these owners are on here ...let me know maybe we can ride out to some of the meets

I live in the Kendall area and work until five Mon thru Fri.
Maybe we can setup a meet at a Pizza Restaurant in the area with adequate parking.

Have you heard of Tangos which is located on 120th Street where the new Publix is located. They are located in the back parking lot with a lot of space. The owner of Tangos said that there was a meeting held there some months ago by a group of RX-8 owners. I am open to whatever gets a group of RX-8 owners together. Lets decide and see how many can attend. I just got my RX-8 back from Ocean Mazda. They installed a re-built motor that was not doing very well until I took it back last week. Seems to be running much better now the motor mounts have been re-torqued to proper specs. I now have my confidence back in my vehicle as it is running as original.

 

Not to be a ***** or anything but no one except South Miami people will be able to meet in Kendal...Sorry.

It makes no sense for anyone in Broward to drive that far...Especially me since I drive to work 1 hour to Boca. So I would basically be driving like 1.5 to 2 hours (one way) that day.

 

Hey i make the trip to broward to see you guys If you dont come , then dont come, i was looking for more owners in miami anyways.

I'm in the homestead area so... I'm sure *** hell not heading really far north unless something really cool is going down.
Traffic in miam has changed ALOT in the past few years, bumper to bumper traffic @night = no fun.

 

there is no traffic at 8:30 and if you take the turnpike you should reach us in less than 15 minutes, where we usually hangout is right off the turnpike exit to 120th street. and the Pizza hut is about 5 to 10 minutes from there.

 

It may have been Broward but it still was 20 south of my location. The least you could do is to make it North Miami as a compromise but like you said you want Miami people.

It should be about the community not whos local but whatever...have fun.

 

lol, I wouldn't mind driving a little. I don't think there's much 8 drivers in the Miami area willing to meet. Least we can do is a community meet. Plus, Ft. Lauderdale is only about 30mins away..

 

You are correct, I live in Kendal and the traffic has gotten worse. Lets try to get the guys and girls that live in our area to meet. I see quite a few RX08's running around in our area and it would be great to see what we can do to promote more events in the South Miami. Has anyone had experience in an autocross in South Miami and where was it held. Love to see a RX-7 owners take an interest.

 

there is an autocross this weekend at hialeah park, after that we dont know cause we dont have a location.

 

I did hear about this and depending on my physical condition after the Homestead race, I may take a run up to Hialeah Park.

PapaBear - are you riding up with anyone? I am trying to get a car coral together but it does not appear that many are going to the race.

 

is this the hialeah race track where they did rev it up??

I work near on 120th near the airport so thats not a very far drive. I just ment, I'm not driving to Broward or West palm and so on.

 

Oh sweet, you're on the other side of where we hang out, so im sure you know where the walgreens on 120th is, right? It's by the coldstone and bonefish grill.
