I like that card. There's a couple new red 8's in my apt complex I can leave it on

 

Wed. should be the day I get my car back. *crosses his fingers*

 

I am out of town this weekend but avail. for the next couple. Would not mind meeting a few people.

 

What's the outlook for you paradigm? Car or no car?

the card above has been around a while...I hope they don't mind the repost, but it's a neat way to clue people in...

Update on the car. The dealership's phones were down all day. A friend of mine who was in the area said she would stop in to check it out. She got there and told me that the center console was in pieces, and that as far as she could tell there was no transmission. When she spoke to the service coordinator for me she asked for his managers name and phone#, then told them that I was absolutely livid that my car was not done as promised today. The service coordinator assured her (she asked twice, just in case she misheard or the're trying to screw me even harder here) that the mechanic would not be leaving till my car was done, and he would road test it thursday morning. *sigh* will this ever end?

 

IT'S DONE!!!!!!!!!! HUZZAH!!!!!!!

 

What's the deal? Is there another meet going? Paradigm, I finally want to see the mod 8! THis weekend is busy, but lets organize something. How's the new flywheel?

Don't break it again b4 we check it out.

 

BTW, I have an appointment to have my calipers painted at the dealer next week. They said it is a "one time courtesy thing". Is there a comprehensive list of any of the service bulitins that I can forward to them to get it all done at the same time?

Also, does your 8 knock when you shift it into 1st at a stop? I have had a lot of manuals, and it sounds strange to me. They are giving me a loaner for the day, so I want to get it all done at once if possible.

Since april fools day falls on a thursday what about an april fools day meet the following Sunday? I like the Sunday PM's. but if you guys are more about Sat's, that's cool w/ me.

That reminds me. I know we were curious if my disks had the rust problem. I just looked. No rust.


Oh. Is there any chance I could get one of you guys with a stock 6 speed to assist me with a little "experiment"? I'm curious to see just how much faster my car is over stock, and since I can't get to a track any time soon.....:D

HA!!! This is great! Can we wait 'till next weekend or is this something that has to be taken care of sooner?

 

Definitely next weekend for me. I've already had to give up the ghost for going to the auto-x on sunday. If I did THAT, then it's safe to say I wont have much time :D

 

April 4th may be a problem for me. I'm hosting a party at my house on Saturday night - may be really wiped out plus for us Jewish people Sunday night is the first seder for Passover. The weekend after might work but don't base it on me.
