that sounds great, would love to take this car on some windy roads. i'm still trying to resolve my current issue. i ordered the coils and wires but they have not came in yet so hope that will solve the issue. so i'm a maybe right now.

yeah, it get better with age. If we do this my 6 year old will prolly come with me. So weekends are the good time for you guys? I am available (i think) on july 3rd, but the week following I am off with nothing to do on monday or tuesday.

Oh, and fyi, Saturday morning a local guy here is meeting me at my place to trade his test pipe for my cat, anyone who wants to drop by is more than welcome.

 

it is always good to keep the stock cat around in case you have to bring it to mazda without losing warranty, just an opinion.

i bought a test pipe for 150 on ebay and was pretty good, i know ppl hate fleabay but some things like pipes are just overpriced name tags.

I am game to get together for any events. My 8 is running like crap right now but I just got the stock cat from Stephen so its headed back to the dealership. Hopefully for a new engine. Once its out of the shop I will be ready to ride!

So when are you taking it in? If they had not already basicly told you that you were getting a new engine, I would have loved to see what seafoam would do for that low compression issue. Of course, if it did fix it, you wouldn't get an new engine on Mazdas tab :D (on a side note, this website is woefully short on the smileys)

 

Actually I plan to seafoam it Friday afternoon. I am sure it will help a little but not enough to fix it. I just want to see what the seafoam will do for it too. Plus I would prefer it to stay running to get to the shop. LOL.

 

I'm wanting to do the sea foam too, but I'm scared to in an apartment complex :|

ya so back on topic, found out I'm working Saturday (ugh) so I can't go to cars & coffee this weekend unfortunately. I've decided that I WILL join you guys down in O-Town on the 31st though.
