Okay... I know I've been seeing more RX-8s in Jacksonville lately. I've passed a Blue, Black, Silver and even a White a couple days ago.

And the girl in the Blue I've passed about 5 times on my way home from work...you may want to wave sometime. I wasn't trying to get you to pull over, just saying "Howdy!"

I've been seeing alot as well around town. Down here is Fleming Island, I've seen a yellow and a black all the time....No one seems to get it though, not a wave or a smile. Crap, you'd think a V-Red MS would draw some response from a fellow Rx-8 owner

 

I know, I guess people don't like that. I waved to a lady in a blue once, and she looked at me like I was crazy or something. It must to been the Puerto Rican flag hanging from my RVM. :D

I was in jacksonvill last weekend and i saw like 2 or 3. I was staying by a main road i assume witha best buy, waffle house, moes and a bunch of other stuff i think is called orange park is that part of jacksonville?

I know this is weird request.

I was wondering if any of guys in Jacksonville that have an RX8 would mine letting me take some non invasive measurements from the alternator. I am good friends with Cam down at Pettit and am helping him with a few engineering projects. One of them he is using an RX8 powerplant in a low production race car...it weighs 1300lbs with the bodywork and RX8 powerplant. However the RX8 alternator voltage output is controlled by the stock ECU and he isn't using the stock ECU, so long story short I'm designing him a circuit to handle it but forget to take measurements last time I was down there.

I also spent a fair amount of time working with him on the engine management for his blown rx8 what a kick that is to drive.

I've had 93 Yellow R1 highly mod for about 8 years now, ported, water injected, traction control, single turbo etc...

Any takers I'll by lunch...give you a ride in my 400hp 3rd gen...get you favors for parts with Cam? I'll live in the Atlantic Beach area.
