hey everyone my sister just had a baby girl so I'm coming down to see her. i'll be driving down on saturday and leaving on tuesday. (7/5-7/8)

just wondering if anyone wants to meet up on saturday and if there are any big area meets on saturday nights? let me know. looking forward to seeing some other 8 owners and showing off mine.

 

I was thinking of suggesting something for this weekend too. I put my KW Coilovers on this weekend, so I have to go get an alignment Saturday morning. I can brobably do something later.

I also want to get a J-Ville e-mail list going. I don't check this section very often and usually miss the get togethers.

 

im down for the mailing list. one of these days ill get my beast back together and come join you guys.

 

I have plans from 6:30-10pm on Saturday. I can do something Sat afternoon or Sunday but I'm up for seeing some new cars, and new owners too

 

it will most likely be kinda late saturday night before i can go to a meet. sunday might also work.

 

I will be out of town this July 4th weekend wish I can make it we all should have some kind of section for RX8's in Jacksonville and surrounding areas or when people come into town so we can have a meet. It would be nice to have a big turn out for a meet maybe even all rotary cars? Even you cmr333 Next weekend I can do something lets see if we can get something together and lock down a parking lot 10+ strong

Sat the 12th there is a "cruz-in" on the corner of SR13 (San Jose) and Racetrack Road. It is usually hot rods and muscle cars but i would love to show up with some 8's. it is very organized, there's a dj, and many places to eat. It is in the food lion shopping center from about 5-8pm every 2nd saturday of the month. I will be there for sure.

 

OK, here is my recommendation. Let's meet about 11:00 Sunday Morning at River City Market Place. I-95 & Duval Rd. (Airport Exit)

There are a few places for lunch, but I will probably go to Five Guys. We can shoot the breeze for a while then take a little drive up 17 to Amelia Island and back around Hecksher Dr. There are plenty of places to stop for photos and also places to stop for cold beverages.

I will see anyone there that can make it.

I will also get an e-mail list started so we can rely less on the boards for info.

vanvideo, I wouldnt mind if you came out. I think some people who had an 8, and then now drive something else have shown up in the past.

Cool. It is easy to find. Go north on 95. When you get close to the airport exit, you will see the the Market Place on the right. Get of on the 1st exit (Duval road east). When you turn right into the market place, Five Guys is the first or second left turn. It is immediately left of Wal Mart. You can't miss it. Sounds like it should be a good turn out.

You should check out cflrx8.com There are a bunch of people closer to Orlando, and they had a bbq last weekend.

I posted on their website and invited them as well, not sure if any of them plan to drive out on such short notice though. You can check to see if any of them do come out.

I got an email about a meet this sunday. I'd be interested in going but i never got a RX-8 i ended up getting a WRX but my wife wants to bring her 6

 

bring em out.

i also invited some people over on Mazdas247.com. it doesn't look like i'll be able to make it to anything saturday night. i will definitely be at this meet on sunday though.
