Hello Georgia RX8's- new member!
I am new to the site...just bought a 2005 Silver RX8...I would like to get to know some of you who live in the Dacula/Braselton area...I have seen 2 other RX8s out here...and I thought I would be the only Silver 8 in this part of the world...hehehe
Look forward to joining the fun...

I pulled the Silvereights website and saw the gang....It looks like a good bunch of people...alot of fun...
I am headed to a company trade show this weekend being in the Toy Business but maybe the next go round...
I live in Dacula in the Hamilton Mill Neighborhood...Are any of you close by?
I have a 6 speed 8 from Jim Ellis and love it so far...I am not on my way to modifying...but would like to take it out to RA....Hamilton Mill Parkway is a pretty cool place to drive my car but the speed limit is 40 mph and it is monitored quit heavy...but the curves are nice...
I especially like taking the car out in the country and up to the mtns...to Blood Mtn....
Any advice ....I am all ears...
Nabil and Silvereight- I see you also have a Silver or Titanium in color....good taste...
When did you get your 8 and where?
Seeyasoon,
Rudy

RUDY... RUDY... RUDY!
Sorry, I liked the movie a lot, very inspirational.
As I mentioned in another thread, welcome to the club. I know you are going to find this a great group of people. One warning, this is addicting; if not the participation in events then just checking the latest post on the RX8 Club forums.
I occasionally drive up 124 and turn left on Hamilton Mill to go home the back way. I've not done it in a while as traffic on 124 is getting terrible. However, I may start going that way just to see another 8! They are really scarce around here. If you see a dumb looking 53 year old with a stupid grin plastered on his face and SilverEIGHT on his ***-glass, stop me and say hi!
We’ll see you in the twisties! :D

Nabil & SilverEight,
I bougfht my Silver 8 @ Jim Ellis but ws wondering if you guys have your 8 serviced elsewhere...if so where? IS MAZDACARE a reliable retailer?
Oh yea, I spotted a Silver 8 in my own neighborhood- the tag was personalized which by the way is not me...This guy was in his 30's so I honked and waved...
My wife and I both drive our 8 and soon my daughter is turning 16....ugh@! She has her eye on the new car to take it for a spin on her own...so keep an eye out there for me...
Silver Eight- you mentioned that you cut thru the HMILL parkway...do you live in the neighborhood?
Nabil- I spotted the Titanium in the SilverEights website...nice color...I almost went with that color but they were back ordered on that color...and I could not wait...
I would still like to say hello in person...do you guys ever grab lunch locally? I work out of my home office when I am not at my Corp office in Michigan...Let me know about lunch....would even buy lunch...so that I can pick your brains about gear and general questions... so let me know when you have a chance....goodluck in Alabama...

For car service I use Moss Robertson in Gainesville. These guys have been awesome for me. Give em a call, ask for Jerry and tell him Don that drives the Silver RX8 sent you. They have always gone above and beyond for me.
Mazcare is a great place to go for service. Charlie (Marietta 8) is a Mazda Certified Service Center and they don't come any better. Not only is it a great place to go, Charlie and the crew are just great people and you will get to drive with him sometime on the Road Atlanta Course. The only place I really care to take my car for mods.
No, I don't live in the immediate area of HMill. I live in the Buford/Flowery Branch (Go Falcons!) area and work in Lawrenceville.
Yea, lunch sometime will be fine. I don't get but an hour. Don't have the luxury of working at home. You're not that far form L'ville. I usually eat in the area of Gwinnett Hospital. Mexican/Chinese/Subway/ChickFilet
