Hello all,

I've had my 2004 Dark Mica Green RX-8 for 1.5 years now and I love it. During this time, I've always taken it to the dealer for normal maintenance, so I paid the dealer premium. I'm about to hit 40K so a couple of items are coming again, one of those are the front brakes. My friends who are also Mazda buffs warn against taking the RX-8 to Meineke (sp?) and the rest of the big chains. I want to avoid the dealer, do any of you know of a good shop around Broward, it can also be north Miami or south Palm Beach that does brakes and regular maintenance for RX-8s?

Also, since I commute from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami, and given that it is a first model year RX-8, I added the extended warranty up to 80K miles, for about $2.4K. What do you guys think?
