GARX8Club track day at TGPR Jan 28 2006
TA, you been trying to get the March '05 vid for...well since March. It would be kinda cool to have footage of the car from outside, since we all shoot with a camera inside the car.

I think this line is a repost from about 6 months ago.
Hey STF,
Have you guys decided which hotel in the area you are going to be setting up camp at. There are a couple of us that will be staying Friday night, rather than driving in Saturday morning, and wanted to get all of us at the same place, for convenience.

Another question for STF - what are the rules for passengers? I know we can have an instructor. What about a fellow driver who just wants to ride for a few laps? What about a friend who is not registered for the event?
Thanks
Thanks
I talked to STF earlier this afternoon. He was heading out the door to catch a flight again so he may not be able to reply soon.
L8APEX: Everytime we've been to TGPR we've stayed at the Hampton Inn. It's right off I-20 and only 7 or 8 miles from the track. Here's the info from the TGPR website:
Hampton Inn
1600 Highway 21 South
Oxford, AL 36203
(205) 835-1492
TrackAddict: STF will have to answer that one for you.

I still haven't heard back about availability on either day. If Sat is out, I can do Friday.

I understand, man. STF has just been really busy and traveling a lot over the past couple of weeks. I talk to him every couple of days and I'm still not 100% sure of the full game plan so don't think he's ignoring you or anything. I guess we just need to be patient.

Just to let you guys know, the new phone number for the Hampton Inn is: 1.256.835.1492. New area code. I just booked a room with two double beds, if anyone else needs a place to crash Firday night, let me know.

I should have a six-point roll bar and harnesses in it by March. No more slipping and sliding around in the seats.
Lego, I haven't finallized Friday. As it stands, we have Me, Dan, Steve, and you, as firm. I know Spencer is in too, but he can't commit yet. If I knew for sure he and Jill were going to do two days, wait, I will see if I can get him to give you his spot on Saturday, and I will move him to Friday. That should do it.
Again, my apologies, I have been SWAMPED. I missed my second flight from Tn tonight, going to AR (Arkansas), so I had to hoof it in a rental. I did upgrade to the 500 (new ford) which is surprisingly a nice and good handling ride. See, for me, everyday in a rental is a potential practice session.
Now, pending Spencer's decision, I will do the following, move Lego to Saturday, so he can play with the RX8 guys
. Lego, send me 125, and I will get the logistics worked out, one way or another.
