Too funny

TA and Phlash, thanks for sharing the video of my "first taste of track." Its pretty entertaining! Jesse saved it to a disk and I am quite sure all our friends will be seeing it. I am sure they will especially enjoy my commentary on the first turn! Lisa

As expected, it was the rear rotor misfire. they are replacing the coils, as they are done. SO no permanent damage. Which is good. Now, on to the next event.

A CEL. Despite the fact they said they are cooked, the car felt graet last weekend. It did not feel like it was hurting for power. I was able to pull 3rd all the way to 9000, and then 4th did not feel bad either. All I told them was I had a CEL. THey diagnosed it, and are replacing the coils. Easiest replacemnt of parts yet. Lets hope that is it, the car has been in the shop twice in the last 2 weeks. While the loaner ain't bad, it ain't an 8 either.

no, but that would have kicked *** if they had. You know you would have wanted to ride in it, to feel the power all that has to add.

UPDATE:

coils are replaced, I know Val felt a difference in his car after they were replaced, but I honestly do not. I can tell they were replaced, they are visible brand new, and it appears as though they marked the plug wires for location when removing them, so evidence supports that work was done. I just don't feel any difference. Dyno tomorrow should show if these do in fact make a difference.

They also replaced my bad plugs, too. So the combination of new coils and plugs certainly is noticable. We'll see on the dyno.

Some interesting facts......web stats for videos......new and old.........

By far and away the most popular video of this trip is the sliding video. At less than 1/3 the views, the lisa video comes in next with the Pam and Roger videos pulling up the end of the list.

These videos have been seen by folks in twelve (yes, 12) countries and have been added as links to three forums in two different countries. We still have folks looking hard at the RA videos from last March and it amazes me but the single most popular video to date STILL is the fasttimes video TA put together way back when. It got 200 views last month and thirty already this month from users in six countries.......we're gonna have to start selling DVD's with these on them for our club slush fund.......
