Rudy, welcome to the club. It's great to have another Silver 8 in the group. New members are always welcome and I think you will find that this group is one of the most active groups in the US.

As far as getting a shirt goes. If you don't mind driving (since you are in an 8, I'm sure you don’t) down to Lawrenceville you can stop by and see Chris and he will fix you up. However Saturday is quickly approaching if you are interested in going to Barber with us your selection of shirts may be minimal at the embroidery shop. You can take your own shirt by the shop and have the work done on it though in a day usually. I will probably take a few extra shirts with me to the track just in case someone wants one.

The trip to Alabama Saturday is really going to be a great trip. If you are interested in going you could meet WhiteTop and me in the Buford area and drive over with us to Mazcare (our meeting point for the group).

I suspect the Silver 8 you have seen in the area is me. I'm not sure I've seen another one in quite a while. I travel the Gwinnett/Hall area quite a bit. I work over by the Gwinnett County Airport. I have seen a Silver in that area but not lately. Please do not hesitate to stop me and chat (except in the AM when I'm rushing to work :D). My car is easily spotted because of the "SilverEIGHT" on both sides of my back window.

OD and Lego, I ordered your shirts. Chris said he did not have any in stock but said he could have them tomorrow. So, consider them on the way and i will have them for your on Saturday. I also told him to make up a few extras just in case someone else wanted one.

 

I ordered a yellow one with the checkered collar/Black Logo with White Field behind the rotor. Figured I'd go yellow (gold) for the Speedsource team. Comes in several colors. White is what I ordered for OD and Lego.

OD, I couldn't get the white shirt with the Checker collar in a XL so I'll have to find a different white shirt. Hope you will trust my judgement.

I'm bringing extra caps and some more shirts just in case someone didn't get in on the initial purchase.

Ouch! I've gotta regroup! Today I purchased a new computer because my old one has been really flakey lately. So I go to purchase a new one today. I get home and set up the new one and then TRY to turn on my old one and the #@c&er is dead! Now I gotta go remover hard drives and mount in external cases and see if I can recover data. I have WAY too much info that I cannot afford to loose. I'm gonna be real busy with this for a while. What a bummer!

Any way, I see some of you are requesting certain hats. No problem with your request.
