I've not received my tickets yet, has anyone else? Just wondering if I need to follow up?

 

My confirmation said the tickets would be mailed July 1. I signed up for the weekend pass because I'm leaning toward staying Sunday too.

Is there a deadline for ordering tickets?

 

"Advance ticket prices available through Thursday July 27." Guess that means you can pick them up when you get to the track? I strongly suggest you purchase through the club so you get a discounts.

 

I am going to buy mine next week. Looking forward to it, looks like we are going to have a really good turnout.

WOW! We are at 32 people and counting and we have 2 months to go! I do believe this is going to be one of the biggest gatherings of rx8club members & family EVER if this keeps up. It's really exciting to see people from different states and throughout GA participating. Can't wait!

I have a group coming from up here. If that's true, I'll get one less ticket. I should have about 6 or so coming up.

I will probably be going... I have been down there for some races to watch my uncle race his 996 so I will probably go with him to watch the race.. please let me know if I should purchase the tickets now online or wait till I get there.

As for tickets, somewhere in this thread, TrackAddict posted the instructions for buying tickets, as part of the Georgia RX-8 Club, and getting the car corral pass. I am not sure which post it was, but it will show you how. You should go ahead and get them now.

 

Check out the kids 12 and under free rule before you take my word as final. I am pretty sure that's the case though...

now there is a true forum junkie, on vacation and still visiting the boards. I can't say that I will be doing the same in two weeks, probably have 1000 posts to read when I get back. How is the trip TA, good I hope.

 

Per the Barber ticket web site:

Tickets: Lawn seating (bring blankets, lawn chairs). Children 12 & under free with a paying adult. Ticket includes free parking. Discounts available thru Sunday 9am. (Discounts not available at the track).

So, I have one extra for someone ordering multiple tickets. I can just meet you at the track Sat am for a ticket /$ exchange......You will still need to order at least one online so that you can order your free car corral pass.

 

Here's a couple questions. Are there enough spaces in the corral to park all 32 attendees? Do we have corral spaces on Sunday?

As far as room, we'll just invite the Mustang crowd to set up camp elsewhere.

I would assume that for Saturday, they will have a count of how many people attending under the GA RX-8 Club heading there are, and that they will provide space accordingly, that seemed to be what they did last year. As far as Sunday, what did you and AC8 do last year, I don't remember? Maybe TA can shoot them an email, since he has been the point of contact for this up to this point.
