Hey guys autocross is this weekend if any of you want to come this Saturday &/or Sunday at Buckingham Airfield starting around 0800.

Setting up your car / equipment to bring
Remove everything from your car including floor mats
check oil and other levels
make sure wheel nuts are all secure.
Tire pressure 38-40 PSI
Bring chalk to mark the tires (not essential)
Helmet (loaners available)
car numbers (you can get them when you arrive)
Take tape to attach numbers to the car (painters tape works well)
Extra food and water there is a BBQ but you may want a snack
Sunscreen / Hat
Cash $20 Saturday and $30 Sunday

I drive next to a white 8 almost every morning on summerlin by me and dolpho on the way to work ..... HP evo2 looking rims, female driver and I swear I hear turbo spool ..... I get a little chubs when I hear that whistle/whine

 

I too live in Fort Myers area (Lehigh), unfortunately no turbo here but one day soon I will have mine rebuilt and ported by Pettit Racing and throw on their supercharger kit. I run their fuel additive in every tank and it helps, especially with my '04 and original engine. Anyways I don't get on here very often but I'll try and meet up when I can.

 

Man I totaly missed this thread LOL I have the Sunlight Silver turbo 8 that Dolpho69 and Bamster man are talking about! I live in Fort Myers and work in Naples that's why you keep seeing me heading north on I75 in the afternoon. I had no idea there was a Fort Myers thread on here LOL.

 

From what I keep seeing on the parts FS forums Dolpho69 should be turbo'd soon! Grats man

car meets are on fridays in Naples off of airport pulling and saturdays and wednesdays at starbucks in bell tower

 

Hey guys in the near future we should do something between sarsota and forth Myers I used to drive to Orlando in my 1st Gen RX7 Now Im getting my RX8 the way I want it soon and would like to do a nice Rotary event my buddy just bought and RX8 too so he wants to get something going on in spring or sooner. Let me know thanks.

You guys should come Autocrossing. The next event is the 5th & 6th May, Saturday is $20 which includes a driving school and your lunch. It starts at about 800am and is at Buchingham Airfield
