EDIT Date changed to 08/27 since that's the day the rx7club guys are meeting up.

i was out in my miata at the event that was about a year ago at RaceRock cafe. then followed everyone to the dyno at titan.
id love to go again, even more so now that I have a rotary car.
EDIT :
ive been to a couple mazda meets that Classic Mazda (on SR436) hosts. The first one we did was at the dealer, we had soda and hotdogs...it was pretty good...except for the fact that all the sales guys were trying to sell mazda's to all the mazda owners. They have changed GM's like 3 times at that dealer so I dont know if the new guy is down for doing it. We also had some mazda meets at the park by UCF.
Id be down for helping to organize the event or whatever you need help with.

I'm not sure what's happening with your meet, but we took a poll and August 27th won quite easily, so that's what we planned around.

Of course the RX-8s are invited, as are any other rotorheads who want to attend.

A dyno is short for dynamometer, which measures engine power. There's two basic forms, an engine dynamometer and a dynamometer that the whole car drives up on. The dynamometer that the car drives on is what most people use since it's obviously not very convenient to remove the engine anytime you want to measure power.
So, the dyno measures wheel horsepower, which is the power actually available at the wheels to accelerate the car.
At this meet, the plan is to meet at Race Rock, grab lunch, go race some go karts, and whoever wants to go dyno their cars can leave whenever they need to.

I know of a few who would even be older than you. So if you're interested in meeting other RX-7 or RX-8 owners come on out. There's sure to be someone you'll have good conversation with.

Well if it makes ya feel any better I just turned 35 last week. So while the kiddies play we can discuss retirement and our cholesterol levels. :D

Hey Jerry, a friend of mine just bought an FD and he has no clue on how to tune it or anything. He was looking to get in touch with some of you 7 guys. Is there anyone you can reccomend as far as helpful hints or even a tuner shop in the area? I guess I could just have him go to the meet
