Post Corvette vs. Porsche vs. Ferrari vs. BMW at Petit Le Mans [Pics/Video]

As always, this year's 12th Annual Petit Le Mans Powered by Mazda6 will serve as the cornerstone event of the American Le Mans Series. Reaching speeds up to 200 mph around Road Atlanta's legendary 2.54-mile road course, the world's most technically advanced sports cars will race into the night for 1,000 miles (394 laps) or 10 hours, whichever comes first. With four classes of cars racing on the track at the same time, the speed differences and braking patterns make passing possible in any of the 12 turns. There's excitement at every corner!

For the first time ever, there will be an unprecedented lineup of sports cars competing for bragging rights. Fans can see Porsche, Ferrari, Corvette, BMW, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Panoz, and others battle head-to-head in one GT class, while prototypes including Peugeot, Audi, Acura, Mazda and Lola attack the course at 200 MPH.
