Justin, it’s your car you should do to it what YOU want, not what we say. You will mostly get responses to use the search button because questions like yours have been asked over and over. Things to keep in mind there isn’t a lot of bolt on power to be found and not much more coming in the future. So break down by category what is important to you then use the search feature and you will find some answers. For example it you think an aftermarket intake is something you would like to get to a advance search for threads with ‘ INTAKE “ in the title.

You should first break the car in, then drive it the way it was meant to be driven - Register for some track days. Drive it to the mountains. Autocross it. Enjoy it the way God, um...er...Mazda made it. Then after you've had some fun with it, you'll figure out what, if anything, you want to do with it.

I agree!, I did that and at the end, I ended up with some improvements, and I'm very happy with them!
