it doesnt, it just sits there so it can measure the atmospheric pressure during start up

Bypass

How do i bypass this garbage sensor. It went bad and i have diagnosed after changing all other options. I gain lots of power after disconnection. But i throw codes. Just wanna bypass as i don't drive in any other altitudes. I'm not paying 140+ for a sensor i don't need.

Haven't heard of a (successful) bypass.

Suck it up Princess, you found the problem, now buy the sensor that you need.

Screw that sensor. After a turbo upgrade it's obsolete. "Turbo coming first of year as funds allow." I will not buy a over priced sensor just to remove it in a couple months. Someone has to know how to get rid of this problem.

Maybe if you stop acting like an angry kid throwing a tantrum you'll think it through more clearly. Or not; your choice.

The ECU is looking for a specific output signal from the sensor. All you have to do is input the correct output signal in place of the sensor you consider to be so fubar. However, the sensor output signal varies based on atmospheric pressure. So unless you duplicate that accordingly then the ECU won't be receiving the correct signal to adjust the fuel injectors and timing to the proper settings. More than likely you don't have those parameters tuned properly to begin with and disconnecting the sensor is compensating for this. Then again, maybe you're a genius and the rest of us are lost. God help us all then ....
