I am, of course, down, for this one. As long as lou's car stays down I might have a shot at the BSP championship, since nobody really competes in that class. Sorry lou. :D

I should have a set of EBC red brake pads to beat on too. As well as royal purple diff/tranny oil, and a couple of poor mans power mods. I'm gonna buy a bunch of pipe for the throttle body bypass, if you guys want some let me know.

I'm all signed up. My helmet arives tomorrow. Candy red, to match the car. :D

Just out of curiosity I googled the name of the guy who ran that 91 corvette in BSP at the last autox. This guy really gets around. He's been autox'ing all over the state for quite some time. No wonder he laid down a time 5 seconds faster. :p

I may have a place for people to stay....depends on if my cousin comes up or not. hotels are fairly cheap in the area though if all else fails.

Well the course was much better than previous Hialeah courses. The Decision making of the ER officials, however, left much to be desired.

With 130 entrants (the avg for the year), it was decided that only three runs would be made. The FTD was around 39secs and on avg, the runs were approximately 46secs.

...we were done by 1:30PM. After the last run, they had fun runs. AT THREE DOLLARS PER FUN RUN (usually $1). You pay $35 for three runs and then another $3 if you were curious what the fourth run would be for a total of $38.

Using my runs (without tenths) I spent a total of 2.3 minutes in the car with three runs. If you use the avg of the three runs and multiply by 4, I would have been in the car 3 whole minutes @ $38 for a whopping $12.67 per minute! I could have called a 976 number and have the **** on the other end make me feel as violated for less

I think I will try and make it to the next meeting and give them a reaming.

Seriously, it sucked ***. We sweated our asses setting up the course and in my case working twice! and what do we have to show? 3 runs.

Everyone, make a difference and join Alex's Gang at the next meeting!

Even though we didn't get much time on the course, I still felt that is was better than the homestead course.
Still had trouble finding my way, only got 1 out of 3.

Cannot agree with you more. I still do not know why we did not have four runs.
The fun runs also were a jip also, Fort Myers is looking better and better everyday, plus on sat, you can get a ton of runs. Too bad it is so far, also, the dates for sept and oct I already have plans. Guess ER will have to do for me till Nov.
so you got to run the track on sat? I think I need to go help set it up........

I walked it once, and when I went my second time they called me in b/c there wasn't enough time. I had gotten there late.
Could have been my mistake.
