Here's the info.

So my plan is that if anyone wants to drive early up i will be helping Topgear install his MS intake around 10am or so and should be done with it around 11:30. From there whoever is with my posse will be driving towards fairview/lake-lure. I will just be picking up locals and such at hooters at 12 noon to start the drive that way. Any of you guys can either just head straight to lake lure or come to the mini- tech session first. Meet up place in lake lure below...

When: 1PM

Where: We will meet in lake lure right at the main entrance... i doubt there will be anyone going to the lake so parking should be good across the street. Closest map i could find is the fire department, but coming from the way you guys came last time its before that, where the main lake body comes to the street and the "beach" is.

Who: Bring as many people as you can find, the more the merrier!


What: I figure we meet in lake lure, grab a quick bite, then head towards Fairview through the crazy twisties, then i will guide you guys through garren creek and Route 9 up towards black mountain. Once there i might have a surprise for some who are interested. Otherwise we get out right next to I-40 and whoever needs to head home can, or if anyone is interested in staying and doing some mods or tech- session stuff back towards my place that's fine too.

Are you guys ok with non 8's? I run with the RX8 guys at Track Days, but my current car is a track prepped GT Mustang. Would love to come, long time lover of the 8, but $$ just not there for all the toys yet.

hey stop+turn- i would say you could come but not sure you could keep up... :D and i mean that with all honesty, these roads are pretty crazy and non-mustang friendly.

I got sick of all the $$$ it took to keep the thing on the road. Not to mention, i didnt want a car payment anymore. However, now that I am debt free again, I have gotten the itch for another toy, but every time I go to sign the papers (C6 Z06 / M3), I can't bring myself to do it, and sign away a small fortune each month. SSSSOOOO, I picked up a good mustang, and if I total it at a track day, 'oh well '.

^your cay is the most modded? that's pretty cool... whats a cay? Anyways, it might be the most modded, but it's the loudest as well. (which isnt always a good thing)
