How bout Okeeheelee Park (Forest Hill an 441) to meet for a beer and hang out. Sat afternoon is good if anyone is up to it.

 

I have never been to Okeeheelee park and I don't know where it is but I am willing to go there. Is it in West Palm? Anyone else know of any good meeting places for 5/22? I am not really familiar with the West Palm area. I am closer to Ft. Lauderdale but I don't mind driving to West Palm.

 

I was thinking more like a bar where we could have a beer....There's no room for a keg in the trunk.

 

I didnt know what everyone had in mind. We could do RJ Gators, Duffy's, Ale House or whatever. Im up for anything. We could go a little further south for the Broward peeps.

Meet at a pool hall to have a few cold ones and shoot some pool.

Meet at a bowling alley to have a few cold ones and bowl.

Meet at a park to BBQ, have a few cold ones and have a few more. :p

I am really up for anything also. I just think that it will be nice to talk cars with some fellow enthusiasts so I am looking forward to it. Everyone please chime in with suggestions.

There may not be room for a full size keg, but I bet I could squeeze a couple of pony kegs back there......

I too am an enthusiast of automobiles and alcohol! all above suggestions are good. Maybe the bowling alley or bar are better since we can come and go as we please. If we BBQ we might need a pavillion and stuff.

 

I agree that the bowling alley or a bar would probably be a better idea. Perhaps we should start a different thread for this entitle "May 22nd S. FL meet," just so that it is more organized.

I am not seeing a lot of responses to this idea. Are there not that many 8's in S. FL? I haven't seen that many on the roads but I know they are out there. Getting together with your fellow 8 owners will be fun. You get to meet new people with something in common and you will at least know that they have great taste in cars!

Like I said, I am not familiar with the W. Palm area so I cannot suggest which bowling alley or bar we can meet at. Does anyone know of a good one?

The weekend of the 21st is a tough one for me as the GF will be in from TX visiting. I am not sure if I can commit to that one but I will keep the option open. The prior weekend is ok by me.

 

Bring your girlfriend along! Spouses are welcome I'm sure. My wife hasn't decided if she is going or not but I'm sure there will be significant others present. The more the merrier!
