Seen u around town too Joose. Was that you currin dropping your car at the dealership? Was dropping mine off to get insurance to fix new gas tank,shield and fuel sender units after i hit a tire on I-10. By the way its over $ 2K in just parts so dont do it. Thats after another $1500 for a new lower bumper and other plastics under the car. Gotta love full coverage Ins.

 

I'm in the New Orleans area...I know it's not "close" but nothing a quick drive can't fix.

I just moved back to the area myself after a 4-year hiatus in San Antone. Living in HBTS (Navarre) for a week now. Saw one y'all today in black at the light at the main entrance. Mine was the red one sounding like garbage. I think the dealership did not correctly tension my drive belt after replacing the engine - sounds really bad, especially with A/C on.

 

i used to live in HBTS. just moved to FT walton. so yea, i have a buddy with a black one. did it have a race 850 sticker on the front wind shield? but yea i saw somebody in a red one in FT Walton at one of the turn abouts. i waved.

 

Not sure about the sticker - was busy feeling embarrassed by the horrid belt noise.
Roundabout - could have been me, Doolittle? In San Antonio nobody waves - kinda got out of the habit of even looking.

BTW, I figured out my problem. Got a new engine few weeks ago. Idle pulley is misaligned on the horizontal plane - belt grinds against pulley shoulder above 3K. Hopefully get them to fix the installation error tomorrow maybe.
