Also in Panama city! Even tho im a month old owner! We should have a meet in destin or something there seems to be quite a few of us here in the panhandle

 

That would be sick and I still haven't gotten a pm yet

 

It doesnt look like there is any organization to the panhandle group and would love to do something every once and a while. Just to get out and enjoy the weather we have and the cars! If your interested let me know ill start a new thread call "panhandle cruise" or "destin cruise" or something and we can try to get people out to destin or hell even tally (better drive out to destin tho) and if u know anyone else around with an 8 see if their interested and get some potential dates this can happen. I know a guy with one whose down for pretty much anything and my schedule is open after June 9th.

 

that would be a great idea we need to set up something. ive had mine about 3 weeks now and ive always got there rx8 drivers in town here honking and pulln me over to talk we all need to set up a meet one day

 

Exactly we just need a location and to get the word out to people and a date!!! Im thinking the best place to meet up would be the walmart lot in PCB and go from there. If anyone else has any ideas let me know! this defiantly needs to happen!

 

I live in Destin and an local car group meets Tuesday nights on Okaloosa Island. Also, if anyone needs help with the cars, I have done a decent bit of work and am pretty handy with all that stuff.

 

that sounds like it could work meet up in pcb and role out to destin or cola and hangout mabye do some photo ops with the cars just have a good time

I'm completely down for work days too, there's plenty I need to knock off the to-do list for the car.

 

Work days sounds great! I have plans for mine but not for a bit. Haven't really done any work to these yet but i have 2 hands that love to be dirty. Previous cars were an '85 toyota MR2 and a jeep CJ-8 with a 350 swap. So i am not new to car work just these cars which dont seem like they will be difficult!

 

What all are you planning to do to it?

 

Eventually suspension, rims/tires, bluetooth to the stock bose system, exhaust and LED replacement lights inside and out. Other than that i love everything about the car. May turbo it if i ever have to put in another engine but that will be a few years anyways.

 

Nice. I already went full LED, have a somewhat modified intake and exhaust, and just put new tires on it. Trying to find a set of good quality BBS LM replicas at the moment.

 

from the sound of it mine is the only one thats actually been straight up modded out

 

What all have you done?

 

i have a kbd body kit siebon carbon fiber hood polyurithan trunk black 18" konigs that i took a drimle to the edge of the spokes kinda flatened them a bit then painted candy red to match car have a house of colors candy apple red with gold leaf paint job aem grill mounted intake full greddy race exhaust with megan racing midpipe upgraded internal rotors pioneer touchscreen navi prostreet gauges and bose system with kicker sub also removed the plastic cover off the engine. full hid headlights with led blacked out taillights ( cant stand the leds keep going out. clear bumper lights crome door handles and fuel door. oh and cant forget the renesis racing short shifter big brake rotors drilled and slotted and cf accents on side vents
**** mods ordered *** i have just order carbon fiber door handles msd ignition greddy T618Z turbo kit which is back ordered till september thinking about cxling it and building my own kit. also debating on ordering a veilside cf rear wing and diffuser

 

Sounds great....pictures only show so much of it...I cant wait to see it if we ever get a date to drive to destin! Actually quite interested in hearing how the exhaust sounds.

yes i did but i have done sevral of the mods myself

 

when i first bought it it sounded kinda ricy but then i added the midpipe and switched the piping on it it is deep and sounds amazing but dang cops can hear me comn only down side

 

The minute he mentioned this i knew which one he was talking about and was instantly curious! glad you cleaned the sound up a bit. (guy on base had it for a day)

Yea you have had to be annoyed this weekend then the cops seemed to be everywhere!!!!
