Hey everyone! Sorry I've been MIA. I switched jobs and my doggie in the avatar got sick and we had to let her go last weekend, so its been busy. Welcome Matt!! I wish I had logged on and seen the event this weekend earlier, but it'll be hard to talk my husband away from the lake. We have a boat and wakeboard in the summer so I dont know..... Hey Lisa! glad to hear from ya, sorry to hear about your dog! The deal with Ono on TV was some lady was hit by a car and he was working the accident and the news crew was asking him some questions.

 

Ok spotted a Silver 8 at the Talladega SuperSpeedway Sat. Anyone know who it might have been?

Hey! I'm here. I just havent posted in a while....still super busy with work. Are you going to the event at Barbers next month?? I think we're still going.

 

There's going to be a big rotary turn out at the Grand Am races in July..

I'm organizing a tuning session and there will be 20 or so 7 owners in town that weekend.. Anyone interested in a dinner saturday night?? Also, Art on the Rocks downtown art museum on Friday night??

I need a good reliable body shop in Birmingham or surrounding area ASAP. I'm trying to sell my car and I got sideswiped in the parking lot. thanks

 

Oak Mountain body shop in Pelham is good.

 

Lived in the ham (Southside) for a few years. One of the coolest places I've ever lived. Bought my 8 at Med Center Mazda in Pelham. I visit about 6 times a year for work. Tis a great southern city without a doubt.

 

Truman Fancher on US31 south in Pelham is also good.

FWIW, I've had several problems with Truman Fancher. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

What's up guys? I just bought my 8 a few months ago and found this forum while I was researching some performance parts. I saw the thread about the HPDE event at Barber's Speedway. Just wondering if anyone here has attended one of these events before. I have to assume many of you have. I'm really just looking to meet some other rotary owners around me. Thought this might be a good chance.

 

It looks like their will be a few 8s there. I'll be running in my FD, come on out and hang out, it should be fun.
