Hey all. Bought my 2005 black RX-8 back in December as a 25th birthday present to myself and just found my way to these forums. Haven't done anything to the car so far, but I'm coming off a heavily modified 2002 Accord coupe. Looking forward to getting to know the members here and share some info. Also working on getting setup on cltrx8club.com.

If anyone has some good info on doing a full Mazdaspeed conversion, I'd love to hear!

 

Welcome to the insanity! Definitely check us out over on the cltrx8club.com site and come out to one of our meets. I have the MS exhaust and cold air intake and I am very pleased with them. Some of the other members of our group have the MS wing but I don't think anybody has the full body kit or the suspension.

 

Hey i live in charlotte too and drive a 04' black RX-8 as well. Does yours have the stock spoiler on it? i live by southpark mall and i saw a black 8 driving on sharon road about a week ago. any chance it was you?

 

Yep stock spoiler as part of the Grand Touring package. I don't head down that way much during the week, but if it was on the weekend it very well could have been me.

 

Where in charlotte do you live? I've been wanting to meet up with some fellow RX-8 owners, but the only meets around here are out at concord, 1st and 3rd sat's of month. and so far i've been busy, i just got my 8 about a month ago and am trying to find some people to cruse with.

And last night i saw a White RX-8 on Colony Rd. if your here let me know.

 

I live in Uptown. You should check out that meet in Concord. I haven't been yet myself but I'm trying to go to the next one.

 

I wont be able to go to the meet tomorrow. But if they have the meet again on the 18th then i should be able to go unless something comes up.

 

Hey guys, I am in Gastonia, well kind of, but would love to hook up and do a cruise or show....although my old mustang doesn't show well. And before the flames, I have been tracking with the RX8 guys for over 2 years, OnRails will vouch .

 

Come on out guys! We do other events besides the 1st and 3rd Sat thing. Every once in awhile we will do a special event on a different day. Next special event coming up is a joint meet with the Raleigh Rotary guys.

I've been wanting to come to one of the events, as of right now i am busy untill the 12th of august. so please let me know when the next event is after that. and perferably somewhere no more than 1.5 hours away from charlotte.
