i will be there for the koni challange race on friday. then the 24 depends on the weather... i live 1 hour away... i can be choosy...
i will note that the fri race is great, last year it was 15 bucks... park in the infield, full access to all garages. walk to wherever you want...
lots of prototype practice to watch.. this is the best bang for your motorsports buck...

I'll be there Saturday with probably around 4 people, maybe more. I'm also trying to get there for Friday, but that's going to be up in the air until the last minute.

I used to go years ago when the 917 Porsches and 512 Ferraris ran. Party in the parking lot Friday night, pull the camper to horseshoe corner Saturday morning and watch the race. Good old days, incredible cars. Also 12 Hours of Sebring.

I'll be there for sure.,Saturday and Sunday.. haven't decided if i am bringing my 8 or not, although last year i brought the 8 and got alot of people complimenting me on what a beautiful car I own and taking pictures of it. Also alot of people asked me the question, was my car as fast as those speedsource 8's on the track?..... I could only wish.

I did see a phone pole get burned for firewood. I worked for an air freight company where we moved some of the equipment for the U.S. races which gave me access to the pits. Always had a trailer at the Daytona 24 parked at the horse shoe curve. I remember our t-shirts back then, "Show us your ****". Times you never forget.

Look for my red Speed 3, I usually try and park near the infield "viewing areas" (small grandstands) at the exit of the first hairpin. Hope everyone has a great time!

I'll try to park behind the stands by the horseshoe as well. I'll be up in the grandstands a while too. Good view from there. The infield is going to be great at night too. The exhaust flames are great to see from there.

I know parking gets tight Swoope - we actually got locked out of the infield our first year. I usually just park down one of the rows near that set of grandstands, not necessarily right next to a grandstand. I've been lucky enough to find those spots before, hopefully I'll get lucky again.
I'll also be heading up to the main grandstands for their awesome view - at least for the start of the race if it isn't too shitty outside, if not a few more times throughout the day. See you guys there!

I still have my Sunbank 24 '85 hat! I think my first was 83. This one was especially fantastic for us Mazda weenies. Sorry I missed hooking up with you guys. I was with a bunch of folks and I may have been drinking but I don't remember.
