Excellent! Get your tickets using the info a few pages back - better price, better access. Or just look for us. Some of us just getting back from a track weekend, so the conversation here should start up in a day or two.

I ordered my tickets thru the mail with that link, and I got the event ticket, a paddock pass, and a car corral parking pass at a discount.
Not sure how they arrange us, but us 8's from Ga will all be together. We are trying to link up with the 7 group as well. We should have decent hangout area.

Not sure how many, but we are coming!
There is a thread here http://www.garx8club.com/ under the events/other section.
But keep watching this also for more info on where we will meet.

Feel free to hang out there. If you browse around - lots of good stuff, and also just fun people. We don't discriminate on location.
Questions are welcomed cause we all like to talk diff car options.

The Roar cars should do really well at Barber barring and accidents. Please come by the paddock and chat.

How many people are staying to Sunday?

Hey guys!

Any of you interested in big dinner saturday night??

Also, I need to talk to some of you 8 owners. I'm now thinking about picking one up and need some advice.
Maybe someone would be nice enough to show me few things about their 8s?

Here are the plans.. Join us when you can.. And if you are not part of the PFC seminar, please PM me and let me know that you are coming (especially for lunch).. So we could get big enough table..

Saturday lunch (11:30AM - 1PM) - Surin West (Best Thai restaurant in Bham). Address: 1918 11th Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35205

And Here is a map

Saturday Dinner (7:00PM - 9:30PM) - Jim and Nicks (BBQ) in Trussville. Address: 1660 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, USA

Thats right. But all riders in the car have to be ticketed.

Earlier today, I talked to Nick Ham and Sylvain. They are expecting the RX-8 group to come by the paddock. Nick was actually very excited about it. Sylvain has a lot of posters and stuff to sign and hand out.

Nick was very excited about the group and was willing to hang out with the crowd at the corral during the ST Race if you all invite him. You all should have lunch with him. That would be really cool!

See you all on Saturday! The Roar paddock is on the upper level on the right side as you're looking at the track. The Speedsource paddock is below us and a little to the middle.

BTW, the Playboy 350Z team has two GT cars that the are unveiling this event. They kept blowing engines through practice today, but I think they got things sorted out. They are using the 4.5L Infinity engine for the tube frame GT cars. Should be cool. If they blow another engine during the race, it'll be a heck of a sight since earlier today it looked as if there was a forrest fire on the far side of the track.

I don't have a very good idea of how many people are going to be there this year. It would be nice to have some food out, especially if Nick Ham joins us.

I screwed up and didn't order a paddock pass for my daughter. I thought kids 12 and under are free but apparently they still need a paddock pass. Anyone have a spare?
