There seems to be some confusion as to wether the Racing Beat cold air ram actually fits with the stock air intake on our cars , has anyone fitted one ??so far two forum members have stated that they could not fit theirs to their cars

I don't see why it wouldn't fit.. as long as the VFAD system is completely disabled (meaning the hardware above the bumper removed) and a proper seal is made to the hole in the stock intake box.

It would have to go overnight and shipping would probably be around $50 from Racing Beat.

I just talked with them about the fitment on the stock intake and they said there would be a small gap between the duct and the stock intake.

The good news is that you are offering the Ram air intake $7.00 cheaper than other vendors , but surely the hole idea of producing this was to get cold air into the Air box , any gap will defeat the purpose of the ram air

Surely the unit should be properly sealed to the Air box with no Gaps at all. WTF :
