Wtb: 05-07 rx8
I am currently looking to purchase a RX8. Looking for a price tag of around $10000.
If I like the car and you like my offer, I will pay right there and then. No games, no gimmicks.
I am willing to pay more depending on the car.
- Any color other than yellow
- Must be manual transmission
- Must have a sunroof
- Less than 60k miles
- No spoiler preffered but could have one
- Clear title in hand

You can find one for that cheap but you will have to buy one thats been wrecked and rebuilt I would say, and I wouldnt reccomend that... Or maybe one with 100k+ miles thats an 04/05.

Not considering wrecked or rebuilt. Looking for a running car. I've run into a couple of 05's selling for about $9k. Didn't have money at the time and now that I do they are gone.

Sent you a PM. I reduced the price on mine, perhaps we can work something out. I'd rather sell to a forum member than to a snake at a dealership. No offense if there are any of those on here!

Willing to drop the price to $13,000. I would drive as far as philly to drop it off as I am coming from NC and I have family in Philly that I can visit at the same time.
Give me a call

I'm not lowballing anybody. This is the price you'd get trying to sell to a dealer. I don't care how many mods are on the car, many times the mods only make the car drop in value. I'm sorry to break it to you guys that think your cars are worth millions of dollars. '05's aren't worth the 15-16k that people are trying to pass it off for.

Dealer trade in is not the price someone is going to sell it to you for as a private sale unless you happen to find someone who doesn't know the value of their car.
Dealer trade in is typically the price people are paying for the convenience of trading in their car in one transaction and it's based on the dealer being able to mark up the car enough to make a given profit margin after their expenses. Read up on private sale price vs. dealer trade-in.
Research on Edmunds.com for your minimum requirements GT/05/60K in excellent condition show trade in as $10,750 and private sale as $12,296.
If you're willing to go with something in rough shape you may be able to get down to 10K.
Good luck.

It's a free market. People will sell for what they are willing to sell for and people will buy for what they are willing to buy for. Just saying "that's what it's worth" on either side of a deal doesn't make it true.
