Hey guys, selling my 09 R3.
Only mods are typhoon intake, midpipe and larger koyorad.
While I have owned the vehicle, I changed the plugs, all 8 coolant hoses, belts, installed a new SSV, the REmedy thermostat, Mazmart coolant reservoir, cap and sensor with overflow hose extension. This was all done with that Koyo radiator within the last 12 months. All preventative maintenance of course, vehicle has never over heated. Its currently running Mazda's FL22 coolant fluid changed into September of 2017. Stoptech rotors, brake fluid flush, and Hawk pads installed in October of 2017. Have receipts for the parts.

Oil obviously changed in a timely matter and every tank of gas gets premix.
No accidents and every VIN label is in place.

Interior is very clean with only a few imperfections. Seats are excellent considering the age.
Exterior has a few dings here and there from parking lots or rocks on the freeway. A couple of the wheels also have a bit of curb rash, but are repairable or fine if left alone.
Mechanically sound as well. Check engine light only on due to mid pipe. I have an OBD scanner if you'd like to confirm when checking out the car.
I'm asking $11,500 and my price is firm. I'm only selling to fund another project that's long over due for my time and money, but I don't need to sell. Thanks for looking!

Are you able to pass smog with the midpipe/engine light?

No, but I have a stock cat with almost no miles that will go with the car.
It takes just a few mins to swap out.

Hi Steve, I am interested in your car. I am in the Bay Area and have an '04 that has been slightly modded and am losing compression. I am thinking of selling it and upgrading to an R3 for the reliability and HEADROOM, so I can actually wear a helmet! Even with reversing the seat bracket on the power seat at 6'1" I have to crank my head at an angle. After alot of reading on RX8help.com and with healthy fear I am steering away from the Dealers and "lower prices" on unknown cars and looking at private owners who are dedicated and knowledgable fans such as yourself. Can you please give me a little more history, such as how long you have owned it and what you know of it's previous history. All the best, Richard
