Not trying to be a downer, but there just isnt a lot of demand for autos and most people can find a series 1 for pretty cheap nowadays as well. Hell, even one of my r3s was $8500 with nearly the same miles as your car.
Good luck with the sale though, its a very clean car.

Yeah, try Craigslist, Autotrader, etc.

I have seen an S2 AT that took a year for the dealer to sell. RX-8s in general move a bit more slowly when selling.

Was looking for a suitable thread to post in as I’m new and still can’t post but I really need to sell my car so here it is I’m asking 2000 obo
2005 Mazda rx8 119k 6 speed it’s in great condition and very well taken care of it has all maintenance up to date. Has an extremely clean exterior no dents scratches and shines like new Ac cold good heater everything on the car works great. Suspension wise it feels like brand new this car was a blast to drive until just recently. It starts and revs fine no noise or anything but it cuts off at idle and I’m not sure what’s causing it. It could still be driven if you don’t let it drop to idle. When you start it it’ll idle for a min or 2 then just cut off.
