Exclamation RX-8 one of a kind ls1 power!

Year: 2004
Make: Mazda
Model: RX-8
Price: $15000
Mileage: 1
Color: silver
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (US State/Canada/Int): TX

Here it is ladies and gentleman. The only RX-8 with an LS1 you will be able to buy in America.
There is well over 10 thousand dollars in parts that have gone into this vehicle since it
is a one off vehicle, and a years worth of hard labor putting it together piece by piece to make
sure everything was going to meet our specifications. The only thing the car lacks now besides the
obvious left rear door, air bags if wanted, (the seat one can be sewed back to look nice and the
headliner one can be taken out) is the radiator and mounts, and a/c which was the last thing we
were working on. the car runs and drives. I was not at the shop when the incident occured, but
what I was told was the car had fallen off of the lift. This car, if put back together properly
could be a daily driving one in america car. The headers alone are worth over a thousand dollars.
If anyone is interested in seeing more pictures or any details on the parts and/or labor that went
into this vehicle, please feel free to contact me at flamed54@hotmaildotcom or 979-571-four935.
I am free at any time to talk but there is too much to list of what all has gone in this car to
type. if interested please call or text and I will go over full details of the car and be able to
answer any questions you may have. serious inquires only please. can start and move car upon viewing.
Thank you for your time,
Gary

Should post a lot more information if you want people to be interested... more info on the damage. How's the frame? What's the year and mileage (on the body and engine)?

Where in texas are you?

new at posting

Thanks for the input, it has been much more help than trying to post on the other forums... I just keep getting kicked off. I live in college station/wellborn tx. I honestly do not know how to post more pictures of the car but I have around 30 I can send to you or if anyone wants I'm available any time for anyone to call my cell phone 979-571-4935. There is just toooooooooo much stuff to type about what all has gone into this car from the custom wiring harness to all of the custom brake lines. I'm just kind of depressed and want to see the car go to someone that will fix it and I am willing to help with any issues with the car. I have a solid year worth of work on this car and as well known as I am around here you would think I would be a little better with all of these forums haha.. I just get tired of getting booted off for people not respecting the car for what it is and it depresses me because I want the car to go to someone instead of sit more. It's the only car you can buy like this, period lol if you know what I mean. Anyway, thanks again and if I can help in any way or you have any suggestions feel free to call me at any time. I am open to seeing this car go to someone that will finish it with the same mindset that I had.

Yep, that's the car. It fell off a lift at the shop and was damaged. So you built the car but someone else had a build thread about with pictures, videos, etc? Something is fishy here................

Funny how that thread and the videos of you doing donuts in the grass with a busted radiator and no air intake have disappeared.

ha ha.... I think I know what you're talking about... I'm the brains of the car, the one that built it. that's why I'm doing the selling is because I know where all the money is in the car and have over 300 logged hours on this car. if it's the video I'm thinking of, it's the ONLY time he got to drive the car and I felt so bad because the car has been driveable for a couple of months but I still didnt want him driving it because of the little bugs I was still working out on the car. sooooo long story short when the tow truck driver got to my house I felt so bad and could tell that he was upset also so I threw him the keys and said "screw it go have about 10 seconds of fun and then you could at least say you drove the car." then I felt worse when he got out and couldnt make up his mind to keep it or sell it, but I think their minds were already made up to sell the car. It still has a clean title and everything too.

Ah, ok. Well either way, I wouldn't touch that car for $15,000.00. For all anyone knows he was doing donuts in the grass with no air filter and no coolant in the engine all day long. Not to mention the owner had some not so nice things to say about your shop (understandably) yet now he allowing you to sell the car for him?

Still seems weird.

I can assure you the car never got hot and the video on youtube was the only time that car had seen a full circle in its ls1 life anyway. The shop is not mine, I'm just the one that got stuck on building this car and I'm too much of a safety freak to let him drive it. That being said the 10 second or however long video that was, was the only time that car had been driven like that. and the price is negotiable and please understand its not totaled either. It still has a clean title. As far as anything "fishy" I'm probably the most honest guy any of you guys will meet and that's why the car ended up at my house. any transactions that take place are still going through the owner and his father. The only problem is, I'm the one that has all the wrench time on the car so any questions that would be asked about the car I would have to answer anyway. The price is negotiable and I know the bottom dollar, but really just want to see this car go to someone that will fix the body work and turn it into the daily driver it was supposed to be. I'm free at any time if anyone wants to ask any questions feel free to call. Thanks again

that is about as open and cooperative as I can think off. If the owner and his father are in the picture--then i dont see a problem?
Makes sense for him to be posting on a one of kind car --since he would be able to answer any questions and provide all the details someone would want.
Per all I can see on the photo the door glass didnt even break?
Is the top wrinkled?
If not--then really its minor damage?

top wrinkle

there is no wrinkle in the top. the door pictured will not open though because the bottom is pushed up into the door. as far as the damage goes, the low ball estimate to repair and repaint the car flat black was around $4k fixing the air bags and all. The high ball was around $7500. correct on the glass not breaking but the latch on the inside is broke, so the only thing that is holding that glass in is the two screws in front. as previously said the price is negotiable on this car, and it has a clean title still. I just DO NOT want to see this car unfinished with the amount of time in it. I would rather talk to the owner and his father and knock the price down if someone made a reasonable offer on the car and promised me that they would just have the body work done and the car finished. The last thing I want to see is what the car getting parted out, but at the same time they are getting antsy for the car to get sold. Please anyone feel free to call at any time 979-571-4935 and I can answer any questions and set up a time for us all to meet up or if someone wants to see the car start and move I will do that too. I just don't want to see this car go to waste and right now that's all it's doing sitting in my pasture.
