FS: Turbo RX 8, 275 WHP , NC
This is not your typical RX 8, this is a custom turbo RX 8 with 275 wheel hp (not the flywheel, the wheels- running very low boost of only 9 psi, 320 or so at the flywheel).
2004 Mazda RX-8 GT, Red/Black Leather Interior, Black Exterior, only 38000 miles!

Top Mounted Garrett oil/water cooled ballbearing turbo (good for 400 whp) (all pipes ceramic coated except turbo)

good luck with the sell. i just bought a black 8 as well. Best color for anyone who is wondering. and all black 8's look much better in person.
anyways...if you dont mind me asking, how fast would you say you getting 0-60 with the turbo? cus i'm thinking of a turbo as well.

not sure on the 0 to 60 times, stock was like 5.9 i think, so I know its much better than that now, but that also depends on your launch and your shift. I haven't ran the 1/4 mile yet with it either, but I can tell you that everyone who rides in it says "please don't kill me" when i take her through the gears with full boost.

counting the greddy turbo that did not work too well that i had before, probably $15,000 total easy. Just the PTP Gauge Pod (which is rare), $450 for that, each defi BF gauge was like over $200 each (there's three), the turbo itself ($1200), the ecu ($1200), mazsport fuel pump ($600 i think), etc. etc. THere's a lot of money in the car, i have not even listed the prices for half of the mods to this car and of course, then labor. Throw a external waste gate in and you've got well into the threes at the wheels. Someone should take this opportunity before i change my mind.

I've owned 3 3rd Gen Rx-7's and now an 8 and I call these cars ****** because sometimes you really do have to put a lot of money into them to make yourself happy. It's a good thing though.

dangit man i was just in wilmington picking this parts car up and saw the signs for topsail.... i was like "OH that guy with the turbo FS lives here i wanna go look at it!", but of course i had no way to contact you or anything so i missed out.... i want pretty much exactly what you have there just in my car...:P nice job and good luck- if you wanna trade it for an 81 MGB convertible lmk -lol

yea you would think that as much as people are spending to do what I did on this one, someone would just ****** this up and get a steal instead of buying a stock 8 from 18,000 to 20,000 and then throwing another 10 to 15 in it.
