Okay, so I followed your other thread, and now you have this one. Why aren't you trading the car in to a dealer? The dealer will 100% give you more than $12,000 for that car, and then you won't have to deal with shipping. Also, you probably get a tax benefit based on the trade in. I am just very confused why you haven't gone this route. It would make me wary to buy the car from you, since you got so much interest in the other trade, but no sales...even at way below market price.

Why is there plastic wrap on the front floors?

(ie: the type of plastic wrap put down by a dealer or body shop?)

Okay.........which is it?

You call it a GT here but in the other thread you started you say:

I am going to be selling my 2005 RX-8 sport within the next week.
Which is it? GT or sport?

Your right it is a sport, I wont lie i dont even know the major differences between the 2. And why wont i trade the car in? Because what they will give me is 12,000 and id rather sell it outright. its easier for me. I realized im not in a super hurry to just go trade it in, But if i can sell it i will.

Agree, I think it is better off to use the 8 as the down payment...plus why "OBO" or bother with shipping if one could get the same trade in value plus the tax benefit...

may be someone one is trying to give the forum member a deal...who knows...

This is getting old. I am not scamming if thats what your implying. If you want me to take my thread down i will. I just have no interest in dealing with a trade id rather have cash. Please don't post your opinion unless you want to buy the car thats how a thread gets drawn out. Id like to keep this under 5 pages so people dont look right over it. So if your interested please post or PM me id be glad to help you out!

This is funny. Why would you ask me this? Look at the car. I had it completely detailed and then took the pictures at work. i havent seen a dealer put tire shine on a random car in awhile.

If you take it to Carmax, they will buy it from you for more than you $12K and give you cash. Some dealers will also buy a car from you straight up, no trade. Hell, you could probably take you car to auction and get more than your price. Why won't you just trade it in to the Subaru dealer for your STI trade? I just don't get why you are trying to screw yourself out of money in this deal. It doesn't make any sense.

for anyone else, besides me, that may be interested, I ran the carfax. You can view it here. I removed the vin just to be nice to the owner but PM him for the vin and you'll see what is here:
