how's the reliability on this?
Does the amp block the backseat/trunk opening?
New motor? was the first one defective or is this a different motor?

Reliability is great unless you get crazy with the boost ****.
The amp is on the floor of the trunk next to the backseat. It does not block the backseat/trunk opening, however the Mazdaspeed Rear Strut tower brace does do a fine job of making it a chore to access the backseat/trunk pass through.
New motor was because of crappy CA gas, a tune that wasn't quite right, an 04 motor that had all the issues the 04 motors do, and probably a little too much boost for CA gas. So it was replaced with a motor from an 06.

Depends on what city you are in. Major City shipping has been around 800. Likely somewhere between 800-1200. But let me know soon.... I have incoming children and plan to part the car next week if I don't have a non-refundable deposit in hand.
