Hello everyone,

I am selling my 8 because I need a 4-wheel drive vehicle for my fiance. I bought this car in May 2004 from Nationwide Auto in Baltimore MD. The car was driven mainly on the highway from Baltimore to western Maryland (180 miles each way). There are a few scratches on the front and rear bumper from people who dont know how to drive! Also, there are some scratches on the passenger side front fender from another cars mudflap that flew off and hit me. The car is perfect other than the body damage that i mentioned. All the recalls have been completed by my local dealer. Before winter I was starting to see gains in MPG. city is usually around 18 and highway was around 20-21.

The car:

2004 Mazda RX-8 Black Manual 6 speed
48,000 miles (mainly highway)
Oil changed every 2,500 to 3,000 miles by me. (NEVER SYNTHETIC!!)
Borla Cat-back Exhaust System
Tinted Windows 35% the tint is a darker mirror finish
2 sets of 18" wheels
-I had the original rims chrome plated (they are pitting)
-I bought the second set of aftermarket wheels in August of 06
I have the appearance package with the rotary accents as well

basicly the only thing missing is the sunroof, nav, 6-disk changer, and leather.

Im asking $16,500 for it but I am negotiable on price. Make me an offer thats reasonable and we can work from there.

I will have pictures available after I clean the snow out of my driveway and can get it out of the garage!!

Maybe $15,500 will start some discusion. Is anyone interested? Should I fix the damage is that the problem? Do you need to see some pics?

saying what is missing you either have a base model or sport model. pricing is about right but the market isn't always hot for an 8 in the winter. have you tried autotrader, cars.com, and/or craigslist?

Yeah, I know its not the time to sell an 8. Im just listing it here to see if anyone is interested. If I dont get action here I will take it to carmax in the spring. They offer very fair prices with no hassle from a buyer. I bought an escalade for the fiance so it would be nice to sell the 8 now.
