refreshing FS thread vs starting new one - catch it before trade-in!

50,8XX mi as of today

Compression test run in this past April was fine, have exact date and figures filed at home. Ran before 8yr/100k engine core warranty expired.

Can shoot new pictures but they are not materially different from the last time I listed the car.

attached CARFAX report - it's a couple oil changes behind though.

Still waiting on my "new" car to be released to me from shipment so I can leave this one at the dealer for compression test. Still got to get around for work and such

 

My new car has arrived so this one is ready to go. Let's see if we can make a deal we are both happy with

extra 18x8s sold, 19x8 R3s pending....

Also reminds me I need to bug my dealer and see if they have their compression tester back....

 

bumping - about to send the car in to the dealer for compression test, and will start advertising to a wider audience after Thanksgiving. Would rather the car go to an RX8 enthusiast...

Removing from sale for now.

Every time I'd talk to the wife about getting a ride to drop the car off at dealer for compression test I'd get hemming and hawing and excuses and finally got it out of her that she wants to keep the car around for her for a while longer. Only costs me minimal operating costs to drive it / her drive it and a little bit of insurance. It's her garage spot getting tied up, keeps her happy, I'm ok with a 3rd car for 2 drivers, so we're keeping it for now.

Wondering if you changed your mind on selling the RX-8? I'm highly interested. Had an 04 I sold a couple years ago and realized that was a mistake. Please let me know.

just went over 50,900 yesterday, I am dailying the car at the moment.
