For sale is my 2007 Velocity Red Mazda RX‑8 GT with black interior, 122,000 km. I’ve owned this car since 2010 (I’m the second owner – the first was a family member), and it has been meticulously maintained and upgraded over the years.
This RX‑8 has been transformed into a true driver’s car while retaining its OEM refinement. It drives like stock during normal cruising but comes alive under boost. All modifications were carefully chosen for reliability, drivability, and performance, with no shortcuts taken.
The car is rotary-powered with a remanufactured, street-ported 13B‑REW turbo engine, paired with a PSR 6262G turbo, Adaptronic modular ECU, upgraded fuel system, and supporting mods. The suspension, brakes, wheels, and aero have also been upgraded to match the power while keeping the car balanced and responsive.
It’s currently putting down about 450whp, but it has never been dyno tuned. Compression numbers are good, showing 106/104/98 psi at 293 rpm for the front rotor and 108/110/107 psi at 303 rpm for the rear rotor.
Below is the complete build list, including recent upgrades done in 2024.
