I’m selling a one owner 2004 Lightning Yellow RX8 Grand Touring with navigation. It’s been garage kept since new. Factory rebuilt motor install by local dealership on 12/2012. The engine was installed when the car had 95,815 miles and the car now has 128,032 miles. Everything works except the drivers seat heat (I think it’s a plug connection but never bothered to fix because the seat heat in these cars is not great).

Unfortunately the car has some rust in the rear wheel arches, lower rocker and third brake light. The front has clear bra on it until about 100,000 miles and I removed it so the front looks good for the milage.

I still drive the RX and will miss it when it’s gone. I am only selling because all my garages are occupied with cars.

I have all original manuals, maintenance history/records and Mazda training material.

Do you have recent compression test results?

 

I have not but, the engine only has 30k miles on it and I have not had any issues with the new engine other than replacing an intake manifold solenoid (not a part that was replaced with the new engine).

Sorry for the delayed response.

I just changed the oil and gave it a good look and it’s relatively clean underneath but rust on both rear quarter panels and and just staring on the trunk. If you want close ups I can send them to you.

He hasn’t been on here since last September. If you’re serious it’d be a better strategy to try and contact the seller direct from their member page than simply bumping the FS thread.

Which then potentially brings it to the attention of someone else who might try to buy it out from under you. Maybe that makes too much sense though?
