The time has finally come. Selling my 2004 RX8 so I can get something that does baby-duty better. I am the second owner of the car and purchased it in 2008 with 42k miles on it. I have been a long-time RX8club member and should be able to be vouched for as a responsible owner. It's around 171k miles and is my daily driver. I had the engine replaced with a re-man by Town North Mazda in spring of 2011 @ 99k miles under the 100k mile warranty program. I have had no issues with the engine in the last 76k miles, I don't hesitate to drive it, and it has shown no signs of engine failure.
Full disclosure portion: 2nd/3rd (and maybe 5th?) synchros replaced when I first bought it because of grinding [I have the paperwork for it in the car]. I have been using Redline MT-90 ever since and the transmission does not seem to play well with other oils, not even OEM. 4th gear lightly grinds if you shift fast. If you shift like you actually understand how transmissions work, no problems.

I have done 99% of the work on this vehicle myself, aside from any warranty work covered by the dealership.

-Fuel tank retainer rings replaced (This is now covered by a TSB, so that will show on the carfax as incomplete. I have done the replacement already, though.)

-Driver Front/Rear door replaced when a Jeep patriot changed lanes into me on the access road
-Front bumper, radiator, condenser, various plastic clips replaced after hitting tire
