Wow Door Magnet

ya im a little pissed off today was a nice day so i waxed my car......... i must have at least 10 different scratches and like 4 dents on my doors where people have opened them up into mine. are our cars like door magnets? they see a shinny just waxed red car and have to park right next to it, im almost as mad as when some one keyed my car, but at least i knew who did that.

sounds like you don't know how to park to AVOID these dents/scratches to begin with...

Dude, by the title of this thread I though I would find a guy sporting his "Whip'em Out Weds." magnet on the side of his car. Damn, you let me down.

whenever i park i avoid parking next to trucks, or SUVs cuz they just swing their doors wide open without caring about other peoples cars..

Damned jealous bastards... I went outside to get something from my 8 and heard a guy in my neighborhood yell out... "YOUR CAR SUCKS!" ... wtf man? I just bought it on Friday so I guess the fool is just green.... I'm sorry but, my car does not suck =) Anyways, some people are just f***ing mean! Such is life. Door dingers suck! Safest bet is to park next to other nice cars... that's what I do. People with nice cars have more respect for each other.

Never park next to someone who has those black plastic doorguards on their doors.

Check this out:

http://www.dooredgeguards.com/?src=g_door_guards

"Our custom-fit door edge guards save you money...
Dents, dings or scratches on a door edge can cause $250 or more in paint and body work. Protect and dress up your vehicle with custom-fit Door Edge Guards from Adell."

They might as well say "Now you can F#@$ up the nexts guys car without any harm to your own! FTW!"

Best spot

Seriously, the best spot in the world to park at is between 2 nice cars. I mean you are nearly guaranteed that they will be careful about getting into their car. However, NEVER EVER EVER park next to a piece of crap that looks like it may fall apart at any second. Another ding on their door doesnt mean squat to them.

Now I will say I do like parking in the middle of nowhere too, especially when I am headed to the car and I see people taking pictures with their camera phones

Good tip if you have to park next to someone always park on the passenger side, as there will always be a driver but not nessesarily a passenger.

To rub it in... I've been parking my car in the garage, and there's this mouse hiding in there that's been crawling into the engine and pissing and crapping all over the engine cover and air filter cover. GRR! They never did that when I parked my Honda in there! Anyways, here's what I did to retaliate...

I'll get you, you little SH*T!!

I just hope he doesn't start knawing on my wires!

Yeah, I generally park pretty far away from cars.

One time I was walking out of Best Buy (FAR AWAY), some guy in a truck decided he would BACK into the space on my driver's side. I was livid, because of all the places he could have parked, he parked his big as* truck next to my little RX-8, and then to top it all off, he backed in!

Yes.. do not park next to peasant cars. Find a nice Porsche or another RX8 and get cozy next to them. Make that parking lot look good.

HAHA! Okay good idea... no sandals, or socks, or bare feet...

I, haven't caught him yet... we shall see in the morning!

I have at least 12 of those things along the walls and around the car loaded with peanut butter...

"C'mon little fella... try the peanut butter! I hear it's real snappy!"

=P

Especially Peter PAN! BTW i still have a jar if ya want me to send it too ya! FREE!!!!hehehe ...lol Dont feel too bad about the "droppings' I had one decide to use my firewall material to build a nest and the little **** didnt just get one side he got both! Now we all love our cars, no matter the year or what, but I had at the time a 3 week old 06 SHINKA! I was and still am NOT happy!

I have had a run of bad luck with dings too. I had a 05 GT less than a week, took up two spaces to park it, at the edge of a lot, away from inconvenience to others and traffic, and someone took something VERY HARD and slammed it into my door, just at the body crease. I believe I know who it was, but proving it was a different story. The business parking lot cameras just happen to be in a different direction.........yeah right.....

Ahhhh man! that sucks! I've had mine for about 3 weeks, too... bought it pre-owned... but still.. it's new to me! I guess she'll be sleepin' outside tonight =(

With my luck, that F'er of a neighbor is gonna jack a walmart cart, and run it up my driveway and into my car.

I guess we're all magnets for all kinds of unhappiness. We just have to make the best of it...

Thanks for the PB offer! I have a HUGE TUB of Peter Pan and if I run out, I'll be sure to take you up on your offer... =P
