Hello fellow 8 owners.......I noticed some white paint got on the non-painted part of the rear bumper. Any ideas? I'm going to try WD40 and see what happens.

 

I got the same problem, I had my house exterior painted and some small splatter got on the bumper area while my car was parked in the garage. Use clay to remove it. You can buy a car claying kit at your local autoparts store.

 

Is this the "clay bar" stuff?

 

Well......the WD40 worked pretty decent. Not great by professional standards; you can still see a light streak faded white paint. It looks more like the paint detoriated over time than having manually cleaned it off. Overall I'm okay with the results. From a foot away you can't see it.
