No, no real reason, but I'd be interested in which one you end up with. There is a pretty decent size thread around here about the best wax. Of course there is a ton to choose from.
Did you get the Meguiars clay bar kit? I used it about two weeks ago. Comes with two clay bars, polish, wax, and a towel! :)

I can hear the Zaino guys warming up now!

A.Mair 03-13-2008 08:08 PM

nah i havent tried that yet. how much was it?

Mazurfer 03-13-2008 08:15 PM

Got it at Autozone on sale, can't remember how much.............but here's a link to check it out.

LOL don't pay attention to me.. I'm mr. perfectionist.
Orange peel is a condition of paint.. look at Picture #2 on your door.. see how the reflection is not crystal clear.. its called orange peel
:)

A.Mair 03-15-2008 01:27 AM

ioh i see, the way it ripples??

invasion08 03-15-2008 07:06 AM

You should of used the clay bar first. The clay bar will remove the wax. You are going to have to wax your car again.

Yes, while clay is designed to remove above surface bonded contaminants, clay will also remove some wax protection from the surface. We strongly recommend following the claying process with a coat of wax for maximum gloss and protection.

A.Mair 03-15-2008 02:27 PM

oh i see, next week i will clay bar then wax

if you clay bar next week, it will strip some of the wax you just put on your car.

chancejat 03-15-2008 03:56 PM
