I use the Meguries Hot Shine as well. It goes on sooo easy and wont get all over you clean rims. Lasts a good while too.

Next time you're in the car detailing aisle, check out the new line of tire dressing products that are supposed to last weeks at at time (i.e., Meguiar's Endurance). I have not yet used them but believe they may not have the same problem.

From experience I know the Endurance will last a good while and looks great! Dirt will NOT stick to it either...it actually keeps it off. I live on a dirt road and I'm totally satisified with that product.

I've been using the Endurance for a few weeks now and love the way it looks. It's easy to apply and all, but wondering if I'm laying it on too thick? I get a nice black spray for a few days along the wheel well and side of the car!!! Might have to try that Meguires Hot Shine for a change of pace. Endurance gives a great shine and lasts....but cleaning the wheel wells and side of the car just isn't for me.

Meguires works very well. It also has an adjustable width sprayer so it cuts down on the over spray. There are 3 sidewall height settings. I use the lowest setting.

I agree on the "low setting" when applying the gel. Also take an old towel and buff the tire to remove any excess treatment.(I let it set up for 5 minutes before buffing) I LOVE the smell of it too!

Shining Monkey No spitting tire shine is the best i've ever used. Its no too shiny and dries very quick its kinda hard to find but def worth ordering online. all of there cleaning products are the shiot. i don;t use the NXT stuff anymore the quick detailer turns the car white its junk. i like the old fashioned meguires stuff. but all i use now is shining monkey and nano wax stuff
