Unhappy Scratched Acrylic on Tach/Radio/Temp Display

I saw a smudge on the main display and the tachometer, so I tried to wipe it down with a napkin and it scratched!...

Any ideas or good polishers I can use to get it out?

I can't be the only this has happened to...I just bought my GT RX-8 3 days ago..not even 200 miles yet..

Please help!!

try some plastic scratch remover from your pep boys store. If the scratch can be felt by your nail, you're not getting it out.

I've thought about that already...but, what I am concerned about is making it worse with a plastic scratch remover.

Most of those polishers/removers can distort the acrylic. The last thing I want to do is distort the acrylic on the TACH. Also when using polishers, what you are really doing is replacing a big scratch with a bunch of little ones. I was hoping there was a product that someone used and was successful....anyone?...anyone?..Beuller?...
...Bueller...anyone?

Leave it man. Trust me. The other materials can fog it up.
Unfortunately interior blemishes/scratches happen within a few days. Thats my advice. sal@zainobros.com may be able to recommend something. But do your research first

NEVER, ever use a PAPER Napkin to clean anything on the 8! If you spill something take off your shirt and use it! haahhaha JK. Paper is all harsh fiber! I use 100% cotton rags/towels. I just got a MICROFIBER rag and must say that it is great!. It will automatically lift dust and stuff from the dash/controls with no polish (Maguires, etc)! Its a must have for any 8 owner
