Angry Puke Smell in Seat

Well, I had the car for a week and I was taking my wife home from her cousins house and she decided to puke in the car (She had about 15 shots, what a trooper). I got funk coming from the seats now. Anyone know of a way to really get in there and neutralize puke smell. Already steamed cleaned it and went to town with Febreeze. Still a bit funky.

you may want to look into a more professional cleaning, it probably soaked in there pretty deep

or maybe a new seat

not sure, but sounds like the liquid is in the padding. if you can, or its able, take out the seat and remove the cloth from the backing, then wash the backing.

havent been that far into the tear down, so not sure if its possible

No need ofr all that... soak with woolite diluted in 6 parts water and 1 part woolite... just spray and soak.. let it sit... then scrub with baking soda (absorbs the nasty smell)... repeat if needed... after cleaning just wipe down with a damp clean cloth. or if you have a bissle green machine, you can use that. or if you have a dry/wet vac, use that to suck up the water on the seats and repeat.

Last weekend my girl celebrated her 22nd birthday with 23 shots... I did about 10 and drove her home...

I knew she wouldn't make it, so I got a few plastic bags from the bartender. I had them ready...

Booyaa, she got the bag...no leaks. Stupid woman.

Thanks for the input guys, I steam cleaned it Several times over and really let the stuff soak it seems to have done the job, but the new car smell is gone.

Elementary-school janitors are puke experts. I think they used Cedar sawdust to soak the stuff up, and something called "Ozium" to get rid of the smell.
