I use maguiars carnub wax on my rims that have a clear coat.
Road grim comes off much easier.

Hey Mike, just use a soft soap and water. Most of the "wheel cleaners" contain acids which eat the clear coat off your wheels (over lengths of time). Your wheels have a clear coat over the powder coat. There is also a clear coat over the brushed outer edge. Trust me, just use gental soap and keep them clean on a consistant basis, and you'll be fine. Don't let the dirt/brake dust build up.
