Paint "cleaner"
TOXIC stuff!
Man I was polishing up my touch-up paint yesterday and I thought "I wonder how the cleaner would work on this"
So I put some on the spot, it REMOVED the shine completely and almost removed the paint!
It was insane! Now I know I can't use the "step 1 of meguires" on touch-up paint!

Bad news
How long had the touchup paint been on the car - it takes quite a while before it's ready to be treated with anything - particularly a 'cleaner' (ie. abrasive).
Are you going to put a clear-coat on the top? ...should bring back that shine.
Good luck Wing

polish brought it right back, it was dry for a few days. I didn't even "rub" it, I just put it on and wiped it off instantly and noticed. Pretty strong stuff I guess.
