Angry Need advice on scratch rims

I have some paint (quarter size) came off from my gun metal after market rims. Whats the best shoot to repair it?

I do not want to buy a new one and I can't find a website can that sell any touch up unless you repaint it the whole rims.

ANyone? thanks...

best bet is to find the colorcode from maker, prep wheel and paint it. you can try to blend it but best bet is to paint the whole face. pending how much they are, might be better to just get a new wheel. never mind i just saw your thing says ur wedssport member. those wheels cost *** loads. so yea i would, if your not good at this typ of stuff, take it to a pro. you dont want the wheel to look bad.

how did you loose paint? is there rash, or scratches on the wheel?
if so get a new one.

p.s. very nice choice of wheels.

Thank you for your reply.

During the on and off process of the rims. The socket holes for the rays nuts are small. I have the short nuts. I guess the nut conector and the force was not right. In result of that the tight deep socket was scratch and I found that a circle scratch was made.

Is not the surface of the rims but the socket was scratched. I do have 2 options, one is to touch up since is a gun metal color and is not that noticable. Second, use the long nuts to cover the scratch.

I do not want to buy another set since this is my new set......

Should I use some Taimya model car paint to touch up?

make sure you perp the wheel. i spent almost 40 min. a wheel preping my stock wheels to be painted gunmetal.

the paint will just flake off if there is any dirt, grease, grime.

Wheel Collision Center (Bath, PA) repaired some minor curbing on one of my OEM wheels. Great job—like having a brand new wheel. Not cheap, but still much less than buying a replacement.
